A network upgrade has been scheduled for block 552100 estimated for the first week of December. Codenamed“V2 — The Final Cut”, this release closes out the V1 era by removing deprecated fields, fixing a difficulty adjustment bug, and preparing the network for parallel and instant syncing.
All active nodes must be upgraded to a supported version before the fork to remain in consensus. Lite wallet users and offline holders do not need to do anything. Siacoins, Siafunds, and stored data will remain secure throughout the process.
